Hi everyone, I need some advice from people who know more about fighting fish. My Betta has recently become less active, and I’m not sure what’s causing it. He used to swim around confidently, flare his fins, and respond whenever I came close to the tank. But over the last few days, he has been hiding more, resting near the bottom, and not showing as much interest in food. I’ve checked the water temperature and it seems fine, and I haven’t changed anything major in the tank setup.

I’ve read that fighting fish can get stressed easily due to small changes in their environment, but I’m not sure what to look for specifically. Could it be water quality, boredom, illness, or something to do with diet? I really want to understand what signs I should watch for and what steps I can take to help him get active again.

If anyone here has experience with Betta behavior changes, I’d appreciate your suggestions or any tips that have worked for you. I also found some helpful articles on MediaSpank, but I’d love to hear real experiences from this community.
