If you’ve been spending your recent runs on Stella Montis dodging ARC patrols while trying to figure out the Fragmented Logs quest, you are not alone. It’s one of those multi-step multi-location quests that can feel incredibly daunting when you’re looking at the checklist.

The good news? You do not have to do all of this in a single run. If you repair a terminal in one match and get taken out by a drone five minutes later, your progress carries over.

Here is a straightforward, no-nonsense walkthrough to help you check this quest off your list so you can get back to hoarding loot.

Before You Drop In: The Prerequisite

There is a hard requirement for this quest: you need 1 Electrical Component. Do not head to the objectives without it, or you’ll just be wasting a deployment.

You have two choices here. You can either bring one directly into the raid from your stash if you have a spare, or you can find junk like a phone or a wasp during the run and recycle it on-map to craft one. Honestly, bringing one with you saves a lot of early-match headache.

Step 1: Repair the Out-of-Service Terminal

Once you load into Stella Montis, your first destination is the Robotic Sandbox, which sits right near the center of the map.

You need to hunt down one of the sandbox control rooms. A reliable spot to hit is Control Room B3. You can find it on the ground floor tucked right between sandboxes A and B, just next to the ramp. Head inside, locate the faulty, out-of-service terminal console, and interact with it. This is where you consume that Electrical Component to patch things up.

Step 2: Enable the Power Conduit

With the terminal repaired, you now need to feed power to the mainframe. This happens in the conduit backrooms nearby, so you won’t have to travel far just yet.

Look for a room like Control Room A3, which you can get into directly from the northeastern side of the sandbox area (Control Room B2 also works). Navigate through the server racks until you find the main power switch mounted on the wall. Flip that switch to juice up the grid.

Step 3: Boot the Main Frame Data Terminal

Now for the final, and highest-risk, step. You need to cross over to the Cultural Archives, which is located on the far east side of the map.

Be careful when approaching this zone. Shredder enemies love to patrol the Archives, and they will absolutely ruin your run if they catch you out in the open. Sneak your way into the restricted service backrooms behind the massive server stacks. Along the eastern wall, you’ll spot an interactive computer desk. Walk up, bring that panel online, and you're done.

The best part? You do not need to extract safely to get credit for this quest. The second that final screen boots up, the quest registers as complete. Even if a squad rolls up on you a second later, you've won.
