I keep going back and forth on whether to get my Challenger ceramic coated or just stick with regular waxing every couple of months. The car sits outside most of the time so it's constantly fighting sun, dust and the occasional bird situation, and the paint is starting to look tired despite my best efforts. Everyone online seems to swear by ceramic but I wonder how much of that is hype and how much actually holds up in our climate. A friend told me to check out this page for Dodge detailing to get a sense of what's involved, and it looks like there's more prep work than I expected before the coating even goes on. Would love to hear from anyone who's had it done on a daily driver, especially whether it actually made washing easier or if it's one of those things you notice for two weeks and then forget about.
