Looking for Guidance on Turning a Kids Story Idea Into a Book.

A few weeks back, I started telling my niece a made up story every night, and now she keeps asking me to make it into a real book. I’d love to do it, but I don’t have writing experience. I’ve come across something called a children book writing service, but I’m unsure where to begin. Has anyone tried this or have advice on how to get started the right way?
